K, are you familiar with the term "Anglo-Saxon"? The Angles and the Saxons were two Germanic tribes situated in what is now Great Britain (There were also the Jutes, but they aren't important to this story). Their language, Anglo-Saxon (notice how Anglo sounds like Engl, as in English), is also called "Old English". Why? Well, because it is the forerunner of our Modern English. This "Old English" is descended from German, the Angles and Saxons being "Germanic" tribes, meaning they had come from the region that is now Germany and Eastern France. Therefore, Old English comes from German. Which means that Modern English comes from German. In the 1000's (I forgot the exact year), William the Conqueror annexed all of the Angles and the Saxons' lands. He came from France. French is a Romance language, meaning that it is descended from Latin. His regime used Romance languages to refer to things having to do with military and government. He required that the Angles and the Saxons learn Latin and French for official purposes, but, in the homes, the British peoples still used their original language. This resulted in a mixed language, mostly Germanic, but with Latin and French in the mix. 1000 years, Geoffrey Chaucer, and William Shakespeare later, we have Modern English.

EDIT: I'm surprised I kept it that short.
EDIT 2: I meant Eastern France, not Western.

It seems to disprove both of you.
As a matter of fact, it confirms that the English language was equally influenced by both.

@ Aspernatio

Are you saying that the original Anglo Saxon's language (Old English) was NOT influenced by latin?

Well...They have a common root of Indo-European, but most every European language does. And it was, but it wasn't based off it or anything.

*sighs* Now that is blatant spam with no purpose. Same with the spam in the G'dday topic, or whichever one that was. Unfortunately, that's one too many strikes. Warn.

So I guess we could revive this place. =D

So I was playing the postgame, and for quite some time I've been stuck at Sho Minamimoto's Taboo Form.

Any good tips on how to block his attacks on the upper screen? Or just any tips at all? D:

If you've got a good pin set for Neku, spam the down button if you even suspect he's about to attack. I recommend pins that you can easily chain, eg. vulcan uppercut psychs, Shockwave psychs, Gravemarker psychs, and Piercing pillar (specifically the slash one, as the tapping one takes way too long, and the combo will be much harder to maintain). Idk how many pin slots you have, but if you don't have any more pin room, I would definitely recommend attaching some clothing items that heal you throughout the battle, if you have those item abilities unlocked.

If you need to research those pins and clothes, google twewy wiki, then go to "Pin List" and "Threads" to look for them.

Right. I know what you're talking about. Thanks. And the Regen clothes really helped when I had to defeat Hanekoma. (:
