Anno Domini 2666, a huge chemical bomb is dropped on Earth (or Tellus, as the humans of that day call it) as World War III reaches its peak. This war, later called the Third War of Tellus had torn the human race in half, one half following the "Dark God" named Reilam ( ) , and the other following the Messiah, Lord Jesus Christ. The source of the bomb is unknown, but it is theorized to come from the area of the star Sirius. The bomb kills tens of millions immediately, and thousands more in the aftermath, when the fumes cover the whole planet in noxious gas. This event, known as the Ghosting, forces the humans to take to the stars. However, there are not enough spacecraft to transport the whole of the human race, and so many are left behind on the supposedly dying world. The Christ Followers, controlling the Moon, are able to intercept any craft coming from land controlled by the Followers of the Evil God. Therefore, only Christ Followers escaped the cataclysm. Those who escape soon realize that the laws of physic bend for them, a phenomenon classifiable only as magic.

Anno Domini 2847, the humans come into contact with Attens on a terrestrial planet they name Terra, (or Abdom, as the Attens named it) , a species quite like humans, but with much simpler technological level. The Attens, afraid of the humans, attack them constantly, and soon, the humans are left with only one option: war. The humans win the 10-month-long war; however, the Attens have stolen blueprints regarding prototype spacecraft. The surviving Attens attempt to build this to escape the humans, but, the Attens, having hoped to escape to another galaxy, managed to come only to Abdom's only moon, called Akiar in their language. The humans, now the only intelligent life on the planet, begin to build up a civilization.

Anno Domini 2930, the humans, while exploring a planet they call Fyudo, the humans find that living underground, there is a race who call themselves the Vurfa. The Vurfa's technology is about to the point the humans are at during the year 2010. The Vurfa are much more receptive to the humans, and an alliance is formed. This is the beginning of the Order of Species.

Anno Domini 3016: the current year. The Order has developed into a great, intergalactic civilization, encompassing many races and solar systems. However, many threats now seek to topple the Order, and seize power. To combat this, the Order has created an organization to called the Sentinels, headed by the elusive 0. The two most threatening of these organizations are the Aviary, billions strong terrorist group based on the planet Kronos, and the Vicran Heirs, or Vicros for short, this group is made of only 10 members, but each man strong enough to slay legions before death. Now, the Order hangs off the precipice of destruction, and only the might of the Sentinel stands between them and such a fate.

Please ignore the zetta impossibility of this theory which is what allows there to be be so many planets that are inhabitable:

In space there are things that are technically known as Specus, they are essentially space caves; made of zillions upon zillions upon zillions upon zillions upon zillions of galaxy sized rocks held together by gravity. Earth is located in a Specus called Cosmos, and the rest of the habitable planets that are known are in a Specus called Sirius, named for the star that the Ghosting supposedly came from. Outside these Specus, is "True Space", where there are no walls, and instead of a star-studded sky, you look up and see millions of Specus. There are only a few stars outside Specus, and these are known as "True Galaxies".

Humans: Zetta duh.

Vurfa: A humanoid species who live in an underground society. Their home, the planet Fyudo is so close to the sun that the temperatures underground in the colonies are about 500 degrees Celsius. The Vurfa would all be burned alive if not for the genius alloy Orcana. This metal is 100% temperature resistant, and so can only be smithed by the immense strength of the Vurfa at room temperature. The Vurfa are much physically stronger than humans, able to lift up to 5 times their weight (their average weight is about 220 lbs.) . Although very humanlike in appearance, when their genetic code was investigated, it was discovered that they are actually much closer relatives to canine species such as dogs than humans. Their life expectancy is about 300 Earth years.

Elentae: This species can be quite likened to elves. They generally are very beautiful beings, but are consequently very frail and weak physically. However, in lieu of this, they have an incredibly well developed "magic gene". Living in a tribe society, though, each Clan lives in a different environment, and they tend to focus all their magical skill on the one element they live and thrive in. So, we have the Ice Clan, living in the Arctic, the Fire Clan living in and around the planet's only active volcano, the Earth Clan living underground, etc. Their life expectancy is 105 Earth years.

Kenertons: Humans who were left behind on Earth. These things are usually very distrustful of Humans. They are much more magically attuned than Humans, causing scientists to hypothesize that it was the Ghosting that awakened magic within the humans. However, spending so long exposed to the Ghosting's gas has dramatically weakened their immune system, so toxins and poisons tend to be very effective against them. No known Kenerton has ever lived long enough (due to disease) for scientists to record lifespan.

Nayk (created by Sol, so I was on the phone with him while I did this) : There are 3 types of Nayks: Feather, Skin, and Claw. These are named for what their wings are like. Feather Nayks have birdlike wings, Skins have batlike wings, and Claws have dragonlike wings (You have to PM Sol before you make a Claw) . Other than having wings on their backs, there is actually no difference between them and humans. Their planet, Kenor, is something of an oddball, having its own Specus-within-a-Specus. The way it receives light and therefore heat is that there are mysterious holes in the surface of the planet, going right down to the core. The core radiates light, which is then reflected off of one of Kenor's nine moons, orbiting inside the atmosphere. Therefore, for the Nayks, it was hazardous to go low to the ground, lest they be cooked alive. So it was that the Nayks adapted wings, to travel between mountaintop cities. Eventually, they colonized the moons. Lifespan 700 years.

Shyons: Humans who segregate themselves from the rest of the humans. Why? Because they're warcrime-committing douchebags.

The Order of Species: The Order is the largest known civilization in the year 3016. Encompasses many planets and species, in both Sirius and Cosmos.

Aviary: An entirely militant organization divided into 5 echelons; from lowest to highest:
Finch, these are the normal foot soldiers and maintenance workers
Vulture, field officers.
Heron, Strategists and senior officers
Raven, Generals and master strategists
The Aquila, the secretive leader of Aviary

The United Astoc: The Astoc (pronounced like Aztec) , is a civilization located entirely in "True Space". Founded by humans who were reluctant to enter Sirius. It is much smaller in both size and population, but it's shipyards are the busiest in the known universe, and the fleet of ships made and owned by the Astoc is an estimated 5 times larger than if all other known craft joined together under one banner.

Independent: If you're independent, you're probably a citizen of the Order, but you don't necessarily fight for them.

-Appearance: Messy brown hair, large round blue eyes, handsome, 5'11", constantly has a cigarette in his mouth.
-Personality: Always laid back and calm, and always seems to have a sarcastic or pithy saying to fit any situation.
-Backstory: Born and raised on the Damned Planet until its destruction, he had an extreme drug problem, which he had since managed to beat down to a comparatively small tobacco addiction. 30 years prior to Roc's destruction, somehow he managed to travel back in time and train under Master Kaion, a man who lived from the Anno Domini 2700-2783, although Messer was only born in the year 2960. However, even though it is information that could alter the course of history in the Order's favor, he refuses to confide in anyone, save his adoptive brother, Rishen, and his dearest friend, Choras Midel. Since his traveling into the realms of the Order, he has only recently become a full citizen, and was only reluctantly made a Sentinel.

Only 4 people survived the destruction of the Damned Planet Roc: Groven of the Deep, Ridey Midel, Rishen Dowlin, and Messer Dowlin; therefore, it is not a valid home planet.

Earth: I hope you know.

Abdom: A planet, about 1.4 times the size of Earth, that shares many of the same features. One, most notable difference is that, rather than a core of molten iron, there is a gigantic arcane crystal. This crystal controls much of the climates of Abdom, leading to a cult following.

Fyudo: A planet far too close to Tabulus to support any life on its surface, Fyudo was driven there (possibly) by a collision with the planet Hilner. Fyudo is approximately .87 times the size of Earth, and the entire surface is endless desert; average temperature 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The Vurfa live underground on Fyudo, its economy is mostly based on mining for the ultra-hard Orcana.

Hilner: Home planet of the Elentae. It is about 2.2 times the size of Earth. Due to a catastrophe, estimated during the 27th century, Hilner was knocked off of its regular elliptical orbit and thrown into the strange one we see today. Physicists say its orbit will fix itself in around 1.2 million years. The planet itself is covered with a very diverse array of terrain, everywhere from scorching deserts to arctic wonderlands.

Ilikia: An icy planet; capital of the United Astoc. Much of the planet is unexplored, due to the planet's unpredictable nature. About 1.1 times the size of Earth.

Pe'rutuk: A single organism has completely taken over Pe'rutuk. This plant, Rutuk'ii, covers the planet's whole surface. About .5 times the size of Earth.

Vokij: An uninhabitable planet, used by the Astoc to mine oxygen. About .4 times the size of Earth.

Shyo: Home of the douchebags! Need I say more?

Kronos: An ice planet, cradle of the ancient Nekronos, and current headquarters of Aviary. About 4 times the size of Earth.

Doran: A planet that is made completely of Orcana, including an entire sculpted society. About 1.7 times the size of Earth.

Deovet: A planet that has a lot of background that I don't feel like typing...
